\nSince the dawn of humanity, people have always fought\u2014and continue to fight\u2014for their freedom. Freedom,<\/u> <\/span>It is the state of thinking or acting without any restrictions or coercion, and without being subject to any conditions. Therefore, a person who is dependent on any substance cannot be free. <\/span><\/p>\n

SELF-CONFIDENCE DIMINISHES<\/em> <\/span><\/p>\n

Because the addict knows all too well what the drug does\u2014for example, during withdrawal, the drug prevents them from controlling their muscular system, so they cannot control their bladder\u2014and a person who cannot control their bladder cannot be said to have self-confidence. Or they may be forced to do things they don\u2019t want to do in order to obtain the substance; it is impossible to speak of self-confidence in someone who lives not by their own decisions but by the direction of others. <\/span><\/p>\n

CAN’T KEEP HIMSELF UNDER CONTROL<\/em> <\/span><\/p>\n

It is a matter of whether or not to exercise self-control regarding the substance. Once it has been used, the central nervous system is impaired, so a person cannot be expected to act rationally anyway. While under the influence of the substance, the person may become a danger to themselves and those around them. <\/span><\/p>\n

\nThe addict: To get the drug, they first spend all the money they have. Once they\u2019ve run out of money, they start deceiving their loved ones\u2014that is, they rob the people close to them\u2014and begin stealing just to get by, spending their money on the drug. They engage in prostitution and spend the money earned that way on the drug. Every drug user introduces people around them to drugs in order to make money. These people, who are new to drugs, have no other way to buy them. This creates a new source of income for drug dealers. <\/strong><\/p>\n

Prevention of Substance Abuse<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n

In prevention efforts, the primary goal is to raise awareness among individuals before they begin using substances.<\/strong> <\/strong><\/span>In this approach, defined as primary prevention efforts, the goal is to prevent substance use through education.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The best way to protect yourself is NOT TO START AT ALL\u2026<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

IT IS POSSIBLE TO ESCAPE!<\/strong><\/p>\n

While substance use and addiction are health issues, they are treatable conditions. A person can receive treatment at a specialized hospital and return to their home as a healthy individual. To do this, <\/span>Medical assistance and expert support are absolutely necessary. <\/span>The period following the completion of treatment is quite delicate. The individual should distance themselves from environments and social circles that lead to substance use and immerse themselves in the people, activities, and experiences that are meaningful and important in their life. Otherwise, the likelihood of relapsing into substance use is quite high. <\/strong><\/p>\n
